Direct to Film (DTF)

DTF (Direct to Film) is a modern printing technology that allows direct printing onto special film, which is then transferred onto various textile materials. This technology combines the advantages of digital printing with the flexibility of heat press application.

DTF Printing Process

Design Preparation: The design is digitally prepared using graphic design software.
Printing on Film: The image is printed onto special DTF film using a direct-to-film printer. First, the colors are printed, followed by a layer of white ink for better contrast.
Application of Adhesive Powder: Adhesive powder is applied to the printed film to facilitate the image's adhesion to the textile.
Drying: The film is heated to melt and activate the adhesive powder.
Transfer to Textile: The film is placed onto the textile material and pressed with a heat press at a specific temperature and time.
Film Removal: After cooling, the film is removed, leaving the image firmly attached to the textile.

Advantages of DTF Printing

High Resolution and Detail: The digital technology allows for printing high-resolution images and small details.
Flexibility: It can be used for printing on various types of textile materials, including cotton, polyester, nylon, and more.
Durability: The images are resistant to washing and do not fade easily.
Low Cost for Small Runs: Suitable for small orders and personalized designs without the need for expensive screens.
